Fourth Grade Selling Candy-Cane-O-Grams

Pleasant Union Holiday Store Prepares to Open

The Pleasant Union Holiday Store will open on Monday, December 2nd and run through Friday, December 6th.  This is a great opportunity for students to buy gifts for family and friends at kid friendly prices. Ms. Stech and Ms. Luvender Kiss a Pig


Not only did Ms. Stech and Ms. Luvender raise their goal of $1000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), they raised over $2000.  As a result, Ms. Stech and Ms. Luvender, good sports that they are, colored their hair purple and kissed a pig in front of all the students and staff in session at Pleasant Union at the Friday, August 17th assembly.  Ms. Dani from the LLS stepped up to the microphone to share how proud she was about the school's accomplishment. Former PUE Student Earns Grants to Enhance Dance Skills

Waverly Noble

Pleasant Union knew that former student Waverly Noble was a talented performer.  They also knew that she was quite a good dancer.  Recently, her talent was recognized in the form of grants so that she could receive additional training to enhance her skills as a Scottish dancer.  The grants will enable Waverly to attend a camp at the School of Scottish Arts in Western North Carolina and the Marguerite Reid Memorial Dance Workshop in Pennsylvania.
